Trying to build muscle in my upper body without making lower body bigger?

Samara Siewers: U wud look like Johnny Bravo if u do that ... ur lower body must be strong enough to support & carry ur upper body.. work outs depend on your body type..so take advise of a fitness professional...

Cherry Stampka: About the only way I know of to cure the loose skin problem is to fill it full of muscle tissue. For upper body, do biceps curls, triceps extentions, lat pulldowns, bench presses, both inclined and declined, pectoral flys. 3 sets of 10 reps each. DO NOT hold your breath while exerting yourself. Concentrate on exhaling during the exertion phase. Pick a weight that will exhaust those muscles within the 10 reps. Do not rest more than 5 seconds between sets. upon exhaustion after the third set, do 5 cheaters. (lift the weight any way you can get it up or have a spotter do it for you, then lower the weight as slowly as you can with the exhausted muscles. Concentrate on using good form as that will increase your gains.DO NOT work any muscle gro! up more than every other day. As far as diet goes, most pro bodybuilders have books on 1001 ways to prepare chicken & rice. If you are serious, You HAVE to ditch the soda, you will not succeed if you don't. Drink lots of water. Join a gym. there are a lot of people there that you can get tips from that will help you. Once you reach the dimensions that you want, switch to lighter weights and more reps to maintain. As far as strength gains go, I expect that you will find your maximum weight that you can lift will increase by about 5 pounds per month....Show more

Boyce Gilhooly: Difficult proposition.

Hope Lundmark: Well, the obvious answer is: only train your upper body. However, there are two problems. one. guys with big upper bodies and no wheels look silly. We laugh at them when they come to the gym. Second, doing squats and so forth will increase the overall production of testosterone, which will further improve your upper body. Ever see any real weight lifte! rs who only do the upper part? Didn't think so.

Maria Be! ngston: yes i think that the below website will help you to find the right solution.
