Joni Ziak: teach them their name by saying the name and giving a treat or using a clicker. Teach it to sit on your shoulder by slowly everyday walking around the room and giving it treats. you might be able to teach it sort of a fetching game where you toss something it likes a few inches away and when it gets it in its mouth call its name. make sure its a toy it really likes or else it will drop it.
