Digital Camcorder questions?

Venetta Coulbourne: For what you are looking for then this camcorder would not be for you. First of all its HD (high definition) which takes up a lot of space on your hard drive and on the memory card that you will have to buy, which brings me to my second point. Since it only comes with I think 32 mb memory built in then, then thats pretty weak, and you would have to buy a large memory card, like at least 4 gb, which would cost a lot. If I were you I would go with this camcorder:http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8428...It uses miniDV tapes which are cheap and can hold good quality and an hour of footage and will be easy to transfer to your computer. JVC makes the best camcorders, but thats just my opinion. Hope this helps....Show more

Paul Maymi: That's some oddball camcorder from a company I've never heard of. It would give you nothing but grief. Most likely the quality is absolutely horrible and the saved video file wouldn't be usable with most c! ommon video editing software.Get a mainstream MiniDV camcorder from Sony, Canon, Panasonic or JVC. If you want a high definition camcorder, get a mainstream HDV camcorder from Sony or Canon....Show more

Raelene Cunnick: Sony DCR DVD-308It's really one of the best camera's under $500 in my opinion, I have one, and I love it. I have videos from it on youtube.www.youtube.com/darytoauan
