Jasper Mangel: fast aluminum ones with about five huge guns
Chadwick Schmelz: What boats do they usually use for covert insertions?
Brian Marquina: Its not a boat, its a ship..........damnit,
Eldridge Rieves: It will depend on their mission.
Alexander Villas: they do not have a specific boat...as it would jeopardize their safety and national security
Letitia Bigelow: They use many types of boats, ships and submarines. They can launch underwater from a US nuclear sub, detach a small sub to head toward land, get out of that and take a rubber dingy into the beach.Hey use hovercraft, landing craft....They will jump out of helicopters and swim in, parachute out of planes and swim in...Hell, if it is the only thing they can find to complete their mission, they will use a birch bark canoe to get where they need to go.GO SEALS!~...Show more
Sol Allphin: For whoever said "it's not a boat, it's a ship," no, it's a boat. A ship is larger. Heck, eve! n a sub is a "boat."They have no specific boats, as it's all mission dependent, but its not atypical to see them using some RHIBs (Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boats), which are very command, or the much more rare MkV SOC. But really, it all depends.
Salvador Prchlik: They don't have a specific boat. They use all different kinds, depends on their mission
Corrina Faro: They use the MkV. It is the latest incarnation of the river patrol boats from Vietnam (remember the boat in Apocolypse Now?).They will also use rubber boats and rigid inflatable boats (those can go right up the back ramp on the MkV)Here are a few website links with pictures:http://www.specwarnet.net/americas/sbu.htmhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_V_Special_Operat......Show more
